Chloramine Problems
Chloramines are the result of insufficient free chlorine and usually results in a strong odor of chlorine in and around the pool. The chloramines are the combination of nitrogen and active chlorine.
Chloramines are poor sanitizers and are gaseous in nature. These can cause following physical symptoms:

In addition to these, the pool tends to discolor and become milky or green in color with algae due to the low sanitizing ability of the combined chlorine.
AlgaecideThis prevents algae and acts as the back-up of the normal sanitization program. The algaecide is compulsory to be added to pool water after every shock treatment as algae converts sunlight into food and release waste that becomes the feeding ground of harmful bacteria and other microorganisms.
